Product of hip hop since 1984.
Why this name?
Went through a lot of names, this one just kinda stuck.
Do you play live?
I've done a few house parties with my old producer & his crew. I really wanna rock a larger crowd, though. That gets me hyped.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Easier access to music, especially hard to find material. Quicker to get your material out there. Instead of waiting to drop an album in stores, just put it up on the net right after you record. An artist can also do alot more promoting online, reaching all corners of the Earth.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I wouldn't rule it out, but there's more $$$ & freedom for an artist on an independent label.
Band History:
I've been writing seriously since 1997, recorded a demo in 2004. Preformed at some local house parties after finishing my demo. Lack of funds prevents me from recording at the moment. Always on the grind writing, though.
Your influences?
Music in general. I love hip hop, r & b (mostly old school '80s), alternative, heavy/death metal, some pop (not the sappy stuff). Basically, anything that captures my attention, whether it's the lyrics, beat, etc. I take ideas from all genres of music. I also am influenced by the world that surrounds me. Situations I have been through. Things of that nature.
Favorite spot?
I've been to Hawaii, definitely the most beautiful spot I've even been.
Equipment used:
Gimme an hour, plus a pen & pad.
Anything else...?
I also have an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design. Now if I could only produce, I'd be the total package.
