I'm a solo musician playing primarily folk/pop. I perform mostly original music in the southern Maine and New Hampshire area. I am also joined on stage occasionally by my lovely wife Leslie.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3s and the internet have made a lot of independent music available. More choices give people more music to choose from. This means we are not "bound" by what "the industry" offers us. For the consumer, it's all good!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
After having a music lawyer check it out, of course! I want to take my music as far as I can!
Your influences?
James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Stephen Stills, Jackson Browne.
Favorite spot?
My lakeside home in Maine!
Equipment used:
Acoustic 12 and 6 strings. A lot of finger picking, as I never use a pick.
Anything else...?
I also play drums, electric lead and bass. These will show up in the future as I am able.
