the last introduction was written over a year ago, so its only fair to update it. i will, I WILL, keep it witty and clever. the last introduction was plenty witty and clever, a little too witty and clever if you ask me. well, we have a new lineup now and it rawks. that is all
Why this name?
well, we were grounded for a while and we changed it. too many grounded's. theres this one in california that shot a video.
Do you play live?
around town, here and there. we hate it. bunch of ungrateful pricks hear us that don't deserve to be in the VICINITY of my band.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i think it changes it for the better. it helps unknown bands get exposure. i think major label artists that complain are full of bullshit. eminem thinks that if music becomes free, then he'll lose his money. in rolling stone a year or two back, he was the 6th richest "rock star" in the world. if you took away all his record sales he still would be ranked 37th. besides, major label artists make money from touring, endorsements, all that hooplah. a lot of indie artists and bands ive found out through mp3 and probably wouldn't go see their shows or buy their records. single sales are down, but album sales are up.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
why not? we do it for the money anyhow, even thuogh we don't make money playing music
Band History:
an update on the history thing. laton, judson, and i used to be in grounded with a slew of other members. mid to late 2003 we changed the name to the more sexually driven name "minx flux". since then, tiffany scott kelly played drums for us from november 2003 to october 2004. angel answered a free times ad in november 2004 and he's still with us. james joined up a little later on and we're at the lineup we have now. OH THE HUMANITY
Your influences?
laton - influenced by harmony smurf, lawrence welk, the doodletown pipers, and turd ferguson.

ross - influenced by 8 foot high afros and 30 odd foot of grunts, not too mention a healthy dose of p-funk.

judson - the wives of james brown and michael stipes eyeliner.

big j and big a comin soon
Favorite spot?
laton - my bathroom, sittin on the toilet, in sunny L.A

judson - your mom's, get it , get it? Are you sure you get it???
