Southern NH Rock band.
Why this name?
It took us a long time. Bobby, the bass player, made a list of about 50 names, we all sat in a room, went down the list one by one and analyzed the name. If at least two of us liked the name, it went on another list, when we were done, Betterman's Rule was the only name that no one had a problem with.
Do you play live?
We've played all over New England. There's nothing better than playing live. Its really where we shine. The first memorable moment came at our cd release party where we saw people singing the words to our songs. Thats a humbling experience!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Obviously its much easier to get your music to the masses. The trick is getting them to pay attention. Record labels have so much competition from places like Itunes that no deals are being signed without a vertual slamdunk. You've got to do the ground work for them or their not going to pay attention.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Band History:
The band has been built from multiple bands. We've all been friends one way or another for years. Now we finally all got together.
