Baby Blues
We are an offshoot of The Unsinkable Molly Brown (www.soundclick.com/theunsinkablemollybrown or www.unsinkablemb.cjb.net)
We consist of UMB's three guitarists - Dave Botluk, Colby Kirchner, and Adam Christy. We have less of the dark/alternative angle and we are more focused on Rock/Blues/Jamming.

Why this name?
We got our bandname from a combination of various things. Mr. Pink is a character in Adam's favorite movie, "Reservoir Dogs". Dave's favorite band is Pink Floyd. Colby's favorite color is pink. It just fits.
Do you play live?
We don't play live at all. The only time we do stuff is when other members of The Brown don't show up. A lot of our material is put on UMB tapes and labeled Unsinkable Molly Brown, even though it is actually Mr. Pink.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gets bands like us more listeners, where normally we'd have none.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not, being just an offshoot band I think UMB is more likely to get a deal.
Band History:
We started as aband when other UMB members didn't show for practice sessions. We run some tape and just do completely improvised jams. That's still mainly what we do, though we do have some written material most of it is just us doing jammed versions of UMB songs.
Your influences?
I'd have to say UMB is our big influence, being a side-project. You can check their site (www.soundclick.com/theunsinkablemollybrown)for the (incredibly long) list.
Favorite spot?
Dave's living room or basement, where we recorded every single one of our songs.

We use whatever is lying around at the time.
