Hi, This is Gene Hummel. Thank you for dropping by to check some of our Music. Turn it up and Enjoy.. Be sure to check out our website and come catch us at a live show..
Why this name?
An old Gypsy woman came to me in a dream...
Do you play live?
Playing live is my greatest love.
curently, I have several music projects
you can also catch me around playing acoustic solo or acoustic duo... I like my calender full..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great to be involved in the internet music scene I feel it exposes us to a much larger audience that otherwise might never have the chance to hear us.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
it's possible...
Band History:
Singer/Guitarist Gene Hummel founded the band in the spring of 1998. Throughout the years the guys have maintained a very busy schedule performing at countless clubs, festivals and Biker events. Along the way they have shared the stage with these great national acts: Blackfoot, Mountain, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Molly Hatchet, The Kinsey Report(Alligator Records), Studebaker John and the Hawks(Blind Pig, Evidence),Bret Michaels of Poison, Wide Mouth Mason and Noise Therapy.

This hard rockin' blues power trio keeps the audience captivated with their strong stage presence and solid delivery of Originals, Blues, Classic and Southern Rock tunes from their extensive songlist. The band consists of three seasoned professionals, dedicated to their craft, fueled by the desire to perform and bring the music to new areas.

Gene and the Gator Stu Band, take a no nonsense approach to music sharing the same goal to have fun while keepin' it real and playin' with feel.
Your influences?
Way too many to list, almost all genres of music have something good or inspiring to offer and I've performed in several different style bands throughout my career.
Favorite spot?
On the stage and wherever the road takes us...

Anywhere that has good Bar-b-que!
Equipment used:
Fender Guitars and Amplifiers.
