We are a four piece hard rock/alt-metal band trying to bring a melodic yet heavy sound to the local scene, and hopefully someday to the world. Soundbender thrives on performing and leaves nothing but their ultimate best on stage. We are a live band...we live for rock n' roll.
Why this name?
We try to break the mold in our music. So many bands sound like too many other bands, so by trying to actually go out and do our OWN thing, we have to bend or break the rules of popular music once in a while. That and it fits.
Do you play live?
All over New England, predominantly in our home state of Maine.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No question, it's a dream we all share.

Cave In, Sevendust, Mad at Gravity, Tool,doubleDrive, Creed, and Deftones
Favorite spot?
Anywhere where there is a good, responsive crowd, who are there to rock out and have a good time. We always play better when the crowd is into it.
Anything else...?
Support your local music scene, cough up the $5-10 once in a while for a show...the music you hear on the radio wouldn't have been there if people weren't supporting their local music scene. Help any band you know out...you could play a significant role in their getting signed.
