We play all kinds of music, not only because we love it all, but also because we don't want to be labeled or classified. We have a guitarist/vocalist, bassist/vocalist, a drummer, and an alto/soprano saxophonist.
Why this name?
We saw a bus at a fesitval that said "Coolbus" instead of school bus and we found it funny
Do you play live?
We play live at any venue that we can
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it can be useful to demo and sample bands but I think mp3's are overused and destroy the industry
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
Yeah, we're Short Bus. Justin and Steveo decided to form a band in the fall of 2002, the night of Halloween to be exact. They had known each other for a while but were not really friends. That soon changed. They were constantly looking for a bassist, but could not find one. Before long, they received word that their good friend Matt had started to play the bass guitar. Matt was also so choir. Soon after new years, they were a band. We began playing covers of surf, pop punk and older punk including Green Day, the Ventures, the Ramones, and Goldfinger. We had a hard time deciding on a name. Almost a year after we began, at the Fells Point Festival, where many local bands played including Justin's dad's band called Checkered Past, we saw a Short Bus while walking the streets. It said Cool on the top instead of school. Isn't that silly? We found it funny at least, and decided to name our band after that. It's not making fun of the less fortunate for those of you who think so because that's mean. In the early fall of 2003, Steveo wanted to get a horn section because of his love for ska music, but it would be too difficult with a lot more people. So, he called on his old friend that Danny, he knew was great at alto and soprano saxophone. Very soon, we were a four-piece band. That's us we hope you like.
