Purevolume.com/effen for music, Were based out of Albany NY and out music is an expression of our humor, enormous pantloads of talent and love of the same bands, read on if u are not bored to the bitter end. I think everything should be described through picture, like picture books, cause reading sucks despite what others may think. This is the plane and honest truth kids.
Why this name?
We came up with the name when we continuously keept heard people say F or F'n and I though it would be funny to name a band Effen, that the story folks
Do you play live?
Yea! live shows are the essence of a band and what is more fun that playing your music for people, especially when they throw UNDERWEAR AT YOU!!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This sight needs to stop asking gay questions, blah blah blah.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would say NO Mr. Record label man get away from me, then i would slap myself and say (on my knees) please forgive me TAKE ME BACK Mr. record man!! and then I would sign, if he took me back that is.
Band History:
One day i was like dude quit that band and lets make some music and so he did, and we made a band. Wrote some rad songs and it was created. Thats the 1st story the other involves a Finish man who was abducted by a small noam in a rain pancho, u can e mail me for more details on the later story...
Your influences?
The Postal Service makes me want to not suck anymore and become good, gotta love Postal Service, (Natural Anthem) what band in the punk genera doesnt have some Blink influences. Armor for Sleep, Taking back Sunday, The Postal Service and Blink 182 influence us the most, not to forget Menudo!! hhahahaha
Favorite spot?
I feel like im taking one of those gay chain e mails when i fill this thing out but if i must answer i would say the bathroom, the employee bathroom in the back of the A+ station off of I-90.
Equipment used:
We are somewhat of a electronic band and for all the rad noises we have made are usually products of doing something to our bodies untill some sort of sound is made, ei. a fart
