No band ho, just solo!
Complex lines when Semtex rhymes, and thats what I do. Trying to make Charles Wright and Express myself to the best of my ability. Some of the tracks are my earliest and where done without a great knowledge and understanding of producing and writing lyrics but through all that, I rhymed my stories as best as I could.
Right now im working on a my own project and including other artists away from my home computer and trying different methods and styles. Im hoping "the project" will be completed by mid 2006. Watch this space!!!

Why this name?
Well when you think Semtex, you automatically think explosive so it is self explanatory.
Do you play live?
Yup, I've had a few open mics spots around my city obviously to small crowds but the feedback I've recieved has all been positive.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well 2 decks and a mic hooked up to your tape deck is old school and I have used this method myself quite recently to get the feel of "getting back to basics", but no doubt the internet has helped me and whole load of other artists, some of who are now mainstream and signed, project ourselves and also let out our anger, fears and stories of woe aswell as our happy times in our life. Hip hop, I feel has saved me to some extent in my life and the internet has been my medium and allowed me to express my emotions in a positive way.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would be stupid not to, like others I have a family and want to support them as best as I can and prevent them from having a life I have lead for so long. If you want fame then thats your choice but I want security for myself and family and if signing a record contract could do that for me, well of course I would. Wouldnt you?

My hometown or I should say The City Of Glasgow!
Equipment used:
Well obviously my home PC -)> Cool Edit -)> Click and Pop Filter and my mic. Also recently picked up a set of turntables and ive been (b)learning(/b) and trying various techniques but still aint mastered the form of turntableism just yet lol, as they say if you fail, try again.
