Jerry Lox is a highly spirited act from Lindsay., Texas. Many years of preparation as a songwriter, player and performer have set Jerry apart as an entertainer.
Jerry grew up in an encouraging environment, being fulfilled as a young man by practicing on his family's front porch and playing in local venues.
Being influenced by the Texas music scene, artists such as Willie Nelson, George Strait and Bob Wills would show their weight as Jerry developed his own country sound.
Soon, Jerry's family was headed West to California. Here, artists like Buck Owens and Merle Haggard would add a whole new flare to his songwriting.
After deciding to take a much needed break from music, only a run-in with the law could bring him back. Just like his idol Merle Haggard, Jerry did time in the Northern California prison system, this time brought a whole new maturity can clarity to his music. With his legal troubles behind him, he was ready to tackle another attempt at his lifelong dream.
In 2001, Jerry recorded his first album titled "Sessions of Life", a solid traditional record written with raw passion in the vein of great artists like George Jones and Hank Williams. The recording is packed with cathcy hooks and strong vocals.
In 2004, a new record will show an even more developed and mature Jerry Lox. No longer songs of jail and heartache, but songs of life and the future.
A father and a grandfather, Jerry currently lives in Northern California with his family....
