Open your eyes, Nicholas is an attempt to make some musical sense out of musical nonsense that seems to espouse from me whenever I'm around a musical instrument. Sometimes I write songs, sometimes I don't! The songs are generally guitar or keyboard oriented. Enjoy!

Do you play live?
I used to play acoustic nights in various pubs quite a lot, though not so much (read: at all) any more. I'm currently in an Iron Maiden tribute band, which allows an amusing escape for the side of me that likes to Rock. Special moments...the singer farting, constantly, onstage.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. It's probably the most successful way to advertise your music and gain interest. It's also probably the most successful way to steal stuff.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely. I'll keep writing music, whether anyone's listening or not. If I can get some dosh out of it, so much the better!
Band History:
I'm a solo artist, a music student at university, and a chap who's had interest from other websites wanting my music on them. That's about all the history there is, unless you want to know about the things I get up to at weekends...
Your influences?
As many over-the-top progressive rock bands as I can get my hands on. I enjoy classic rock and "heavy metal", but also the lighter side of rock music. The only things I will outright refuse to listen to are usually found on Top of the Pops. I don't think my tastes coincide with the record-buying public!
Favorite spot?
By the fire, in a nice old man's pub, in winter, with a pint of something special, and a friend.
