i grew up on pop, old-school rap/gangsta rap, r&b, funk, flamenco, and classical music. very little rock until college.

once i began the rock thang it was tough to go back, though underground hip hop and 'real' R&B are still fantastic to hear. right now my biggest influences are Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, the Doves, U2, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Spoon, Badly Drawn Boy, the Strokes, Grandaddy and Dungen (long live the Swedes!).

currently i'm realizing a lifelong dream of pursuing music, knowing that it will most likely not pay my bills or put food on my plate.

life is too short to put off your passions for career or financial stability so i say give your dreams a try! if nothing else you'll wind up with great stories and no regrets.
