From slow-steppin' to 2-steppin', it comes from the heart.
If I had to sum it all up in one line, that would be it. That's what I am. That's what I do. And I love it!

Why this name?
My name is Dustin Dee Litchfield. Dustin is just too formal for a country boy, so my parents started calling me Dusty, and it has stuck. And those "hey it's dusty in here, cough, cough" jokes drive me nuts!!
Do you play live?
I love playing live when I can get the chance. It seems to bring out a whole different side of me, a side that's a little more out-going than usual.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, I would like to have a recording contract or a publishing contract some time in the future.
Band History:
I've mostly just played for family and friends. My Mom bought me a couple hours in the recording studio for Christmas a couple years back and I fell in love with it. I saved up some money and went back and recorded a song I wrote for her, and gave it to her the next Christmas. Now I'm hooked on writing, recording, and performing. Gotta love it!
Your influences?
I grew up listening to Kris Kristofferson records that my dad had; I love Kris' songwriting abilities, and his ability to create emotion through a song, amazing. Garth Brooks (esp. his songs written by Tony Arata). Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans, ... a wide variety.
Favorite spot?
Taber, Alberta. Home town, hick town, gotta love it!!
Equipment used:
Me and my guitar!!!
Anything else...?
It's all about how the song makes you feel.
