This is a new mix of an old song of mine about life in one of our local Jersey Shore towns... with reference made to the former mayor who will soon be taking up residence in one of our fine federal corrections facilities. New mix 10-15-09

New song about a very sensitive subject...sexual abuse of minors. 09-14-08 Not exactly a happy subject, but unfortunately a fact of life for some. I wrote 3 versions of this song. This is the second.

Poverty often has a devastating effect on young children. One of the effects is when a father leaves the family. This happened a lot in the '70's, and was the inspiration for this song (see story).
