Red Cabbage is an acoustic/electric rock band from the Annapolis/Baltimore/DC area. RC is beginning to pick up momentum in the area gigging scene and hope to start playing frequently.
Why this name?
Operation 'Red Cabbage' from the movie "IQ".. you'd have to ask Sean why he chose that.
Do you play live?
We're working on getting gigs in the area; although the music that you'll hear on this page doesn't quite suffice for booking big shows.. we're working on entering the studio to record with the full band to give the band the rock backbone.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's great.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, although it depends.
Band History:
Started in around 2000 with two members, then became three, then four, then back to three, now back to four (although five if you count Chris studying abroad in Europe). I'm confused. All original members are graduates of St. Mary's High School in Annapolis, Md, the greatest city on earth.
Your influences?
Wide array - Everything from Guster and DMB to Led Zeppelin and SRV. Probably too comprehensive to list.
Favorite spot?
Naptown
