It just seemed like a name that ANYONE can connect with, we've all got some kind of burden we wish we didn't have, but we deal with it and move on.

Yeah we play live, in fact that's when we are at our best. Right now we're playing around Indianapolis,Indiana. I think any band likes playing out, there is something about the energy of a crowd...it's almost like a drug. Once you taste that energy and passion, you want more and more. You want bigger crowds, and you want more shows. There is always some kind of special moment during a show. Whether it's a fan, or it's a moment during a song that you and another band member catch eyes and feel the vibe.

I think the internet is great for unsigned bands, more so than bigger signed bands. Mainly because it takes less work to promote. The internet is like tagging every wall, message board, telephone pole, and window with your band name, from the comfort of your own home...and of course, the old skool way is still a requirement to an extent. I think nowadays it's all about word of mouth. You plaster your name and showdates everywhere, even if people get tired of looking at it and tell people "man I am tired of seeing that name Born Under Burden" well, that's cool, somebody else heard the name, might have thought it was cool, and checked it out...they still heard the name, and they might say something to someone else.

If the contract was right. In that we don't want to be molded into something we're not.

Basically we are just five guys that have been in bigger bands from our area that got out of those bands in some way, and we formed a new band.

Well, it's alot of stuff really. Everything from TOOL - Deftones, from Mudvayne - Taproot, Faith No More - Alice In Chains, and so much more.
