Move GA*GA is a funk-rock-hiphop crossover band influenced by George Clinton, Prince, Fishbone, Trouble Funk, Gotcha! and others. Move GA*GA is about good grooves and positivity.
Why this name?
It just sounds funky :-)
Do you play live?
We play live. Every self respecting musician should play live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Major lables will become less important. Artists will more and more distribute their work through the internet instead of the old methods. Hopefully this will also mean more different music will be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the conditions are right, of course.
Band History:
Move GA*GA existed since 1992 although we had some inactive periods.
The rapper and myself write most of the music and record it at home. We have had many changes in the group although some members sticked with us throughout the years and still define our live sound.
