We are both longtime musicians. David is a guitarist, and Rasmus plays several instruments, including Piano and bass. Here, he plays pedal steel guitar and David plays his National Resophonic guitar. These pieces are spontaneously recorded, almost unprepared. We aimed for the magic and power of the moment, and the intention is to convey our love for music in general, and certain timbres and tonalities in particular.
Do you play live?
We have not played live in front of an audience, but everything you hear on this page is recorded live - simultaneously with no overdubs. In this sense, we've always played live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We can now share our work with anyone interested in giving it a listen. This is great, and frees up power. There's an expressway from the private project studio in bedrooms all over the world to everyone's ears. This is certainly one of the more cool features about the net.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, but we're not actively seeking it - making and sharing the music is very rewarding in itself, and the whole music industry ratrace can be draining and tiresome.
Band History:
Our friendship is going on 20 years, we've been involved in several projects together, and this is our latest offering, meant purely for our own enjoyment. It is our hope and intention with this page that some of this enjoyment can reach others, so thanks for stopping by - and thank you for your listening time.
Your influences?
Our influences are to numerous and varied to even begin listing here. Suffice to say that this project centers itself around spontaneous musical communication and cooperation. We dig all kinds of music, especially the good kind.
Favorite spot?
Perhaps a canoe on the small strait between Denmark and Sweden is the best common spot we can think of.
