Solo artist and home recording studio enthusiast. Enjoy working with other solo artists on song collaborations and recording projects.
Why this name?
Old Army Infantry nickname that just kind of stuck.
Do you play live?
No longer play live. My main interest is my studio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet allows musicians of all levels to contact and enjoy other artists works.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, perhaps if the integrity and "art" is foremost.
Band History:
I play acoustic & electric guitars, keyboards, bass guitar, congas, electronic drums, harmonica and thumb piano. It all started with a Fostex 4-track tape machine in my Army barracks room and now I have the spare bedroom at home dedicated to my studio. It has taken 20 years and lots of trial and error to get to where I am today and it has all been worth the effort! I recommend anyone interested in a home studio should go for it. Greatest sense of enjoyment and accomplishment (on an artistic level) I have yet experienced! I have completed Engineering and Production Recording 1 & 2 and Electronic Music 1 & 2, and I will continue with more audio and music theory classes in the future. What I enjoy most is hanging out in my studio (BushDog Studio) writing, playing and recording music. I also really enjoy collaborating with other artists/recordists and look forward to exploring this medium of computer music.
History:
I have been a musician for over 35 years and played in a couple great rock bands along the way.... "Legal Tender" & "Without Warning", along with many unmentionable, no where (but fun) garage bands. But my main gig is recording projects in my studio......
