Dominion of Gollum is a collaborative effort by individuals and their passion for music. The artists were deeply influenced by such artists as Gary Numan, The Fourth Man, Marilyn Manson and Numb.
Why this name?
The name Dominion of Gollum was derived from a favorite song (Dominion Day) and a favorite character (Gollum from Lord of the Rings-Tolkien).
Do you play live?
Not yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The vast majority of independant artists are now having their work heard, which is a technological advance for the music industry. Someone, somewhere is listening and knowing that is sometimes reward in and of itself.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
Tamatha Mitchell (vocals): With the mere desire to inflate my own ego... I coerced the very talented David Collings (formerly of, The Fourth Man & Numb) and we became “Dominion of Gollum”.

David Collings (Sound Editor/Production): Performing and producing music over the past ten years, starting in the early 90’s as the vocalist, producer, engineer, and all-round creative glue of the volatile and self-destructive industrial collective The Fourth Man. By the mid-nineties, he became the vocalist and songwriting/recording collaborator with the cult industrial band Numb. His work has been called everything from “sophomoric” to “brilliant” to “like driving very slowly by a very bad car crash”. He currently resides in Canada, where he periodically violates his vow to start writing and producing vacant but lucrative pop bands.
