BlueFluff consists of myself and an assortment of gear. I finally decided to post some stuff on t'Internet and get me a website, mainly so friends can listen to my music. I'm not expeting/looking for fame and fortune, it's just a hobby really. If people like what they hear, then that's a bonus. Let me know - you'll make my week!
Why this name?
I was pondering the reason fluff in the navel always corresponds to the colour of ones socks.
Do you play live?
I have played live in a previous indie band, but the hassle of moving keyboards around and all the rewiring means I'm quite happy to just do studio work.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives bedroom musicians like myself exposure that we could never have dreamed of before this technology came about. It also means all manner of unsavoury chavs can download FruityLoops, then sit in their LaCoste declaring to all and sundry that they are 'Producers'! So yeah, thanks, Internet, thanks a lot!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't really take my music that seriously - I see it as a hobby that got out of hand.
Band History:
I have been playing with synthesisers for a while now, and thought I may as well put some of it out there, and see what people think, hence BlueFluff.
Your influences?
All sorts, from Prodigy to Nick Cave, David Bowie to BT, Oasis to Royksopp.
Favorite spot?
In my little studio, of course!
Equipment used:
Tons! I'm a real hardware head!
