Itakks is an independent record label that consist of different forms of music such as Hip Hop, R&B, Rock and Roll etc. This is the Home of the underground rap heavyweights Trends and Khalid, Soft rock sensation Shawn Maxam and the most talked about in house producer Steelwaterz

Itakks is an acronym that stands for I Think All Kinds of Kids Succeed
Do you play live?
Itakks plays live in various spots in the tri state area such as Nells, Knitting Factory, Peppers, Opaline, Madison Square Garden, The Pyramid, Da Spot 88, Downtime etc..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changes the music industry because now you can hear more music before you buy it. So I think it puts pressure on artist to really bring some hot material to the table. Because if they can hear your whole album or even download it and get it for free, you would need to make your music extra hot so they would want to go out and buy the original
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah,sure why not.

Itakks was started back in 1995 by Trends and Shawn Maxam and then Khalid and Steelwaterz later joined. Thats it.
