Strange Froot is a production company that is rooted in urban black music. Right now that root is Hip Hop.
Why this name?
Strange Fruit is the title of a song by the late great Lady Day and the song is about the killing of black men back during the blood summers between the 1920-1935. Basically it represents my southern roots cuz madd cats think i'm from the north. Plus i'm the collection of all those murdered souls coming back I'm the voice for them.
Do you play live?
I'm known in Raleigh as Glassez but when i picked up the production tools and came home to Charlotte. and yeah I've been told i have a good live show. I remeber opening for the young bloods back in 98 at NC State... that's one time i really felt like a star.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
i puts out music that otherwise wouldn't be heard. it'sa blaessing

Only if I had that creative control and that contract and money was right.
