Never heard of this guy and I am impressed beyond description with the music he has made! I sure hope he tours the US before I croak (I'm pretty old) cause I'd like to hear him in person.

Great playing, but I would drop the volume of the snare a lot in this song. It is dominating over the guitar and bass. Add a tiny bit of treble and reverb to the guitar, and it would be a top-level production. Just my two cents. Love all the voicings and the swing of it all.
You're in Australia, huh? I just got some Sliders Vintage '57 pickups for my Strat... very nice.
Edit: I just listened to 20 of your songs. All great, but at least 12 had the same issue of the snare being mixed higher than the guitar. There were a few that lowered the volume of the snare and increased either the attack or the treble so it still came through. Please please bring your great guitar to the foreground. Don't be afraid. Take over the stage.

Hi Kirk,
Your playing is remarkable, tasty, skilled and top pro sound with great tones.
No destination jazzy blues acoustic feel is awsome,
also Come a long way, smokin' slide guitar.
Changes is great too.
I did last year a version of "changes" you may like:

I called it "Pentatonic Travels"
