Some call it stupidity, some call it genious. With songs about wiping your bum, spinning around whilst taking a wizz and making love to corpses... I'd call it stupidity. But it's still amusing!
Why this name?
Gaz is short for Gareth and I like metal, hence... Gaz Metal.
Do you play live?
Never played live because I haven't got a band. I do everything myself. It's about time I joined a band and did something more serious. We'll see.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I myself have nothing against it. I've discovered lots of bands by downloading MP3's. Some great bands I'd have never heard if it wasn't for MP3's. If I download a song I like by a band I'll go out and buy their album. How is that bad?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I doubt they'd sign me.
Band History:
Gaz Metal is basically me in my bedroom recording songs on my computer. I sing about really stupid stuff for my own amusment.
I made a CD and passed a few copies around to a few people and it made them laugh so I recorded some more.

Your influences?
My musical interest don't show in this Gaz Metal project. My fav bands include Anthrax, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Spiritual Beggars, Armored Saint, Necrophagia, Darkthrone, Megadeth.....
Favorite spot?
Dellamere Forest. Liverpool. Bed.
Equipment used:
My PC, some metal samples and a DK 600 mic.
