The GonnaBees are three young New York City female singers with an attitude, a natural sense of rhythm and something to say. Watch their March 14th performance video of their hit, 'Queen of Pop' in the WB11 TV studio.



The East Coast girl group are the back-up singers for American Idol castoff and Koch Records recording artist William Hung on Y.M.C.A of his debut album, Inspiration, released April 6th.

WKTU (103.5 FM) caught lightning in a beer bottle when Vic Latino brought in a song by the Gonnabees, a girl trio, called "Queen of Pop." Latino and the Gonnabees share a manager. The unreleased song hints at some well-known pop tarts, including Madonna, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson. The song is fun, and KTU program director Jeff Z. said listener response has been off the charts.

"The phones have been huge. It's going to be controversial," said the Z Man. "But it just fits right now. It's so perfect."

The girls were profiled on "Inside Edition" (Listen) last Friday. Jeff Z. said he would make the song available to other stations. Some Clear Channel stations use a computer storage system for songs, with stations adding tracks to it as they see fit.
