I play with the Orange Coast College Jazz Improv class and sometimes I play at "Steamer's Cafe" in Fullerton at their Sunday Night Jam session.

I'm not sure if its had an impact yet, but I think if mp3s kill the music industry, good musicians will begin to show up again.

I don't know which major record labels want Jazz guitarists, but if one wants to sign me I'd sign in hopes of getting jazz out to the public.

I've been playing guitar for almost 2 and a half years. I began improvising on the guitar a year and a half ago by playing over blues progressions and began to experiment with modal jazz songs about 8 months ago. I've been playing over standard jazz tunes with complex chord progressions for only a few months.

My musical influences are Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, James 'Blood' Ulmer, Wes Montgomery, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins and all the great Jazz musicians that I get to play with

An orange Carvin guitar. To record onto my computer, I set up my amp next to the computer microphone, and record with Aebersold backgrounds or with Band-in-a-Box. Nothing fancy.
