Jimmy Lee is currently a member of the Country/Rock/Blues band named, “TRIPLE KICK BAND”. They perform all over Oklahoma and Texas at everything from bars, fairs, weddings and other private and corporate events. They really know how to pack a dance floor! At the present time, he is stationed overseas in Turkey, as he is also an active duty member of the United States Air Force. His return to the states and the band will be in May 2006, and the fans can hardly wait!
Jimmy Lee was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he lived in several different foster homes until the age of six. He was then adopted by loving parents and moved to Canton, North Carolina where he lived until joining the Air Force in 1989. As a child, Jimmy was always into entertaining folks. Whether it be the lead in a school play as a youngster, or competing on stage during Clogging competitions, he was always looking for some way to entertain.
A profound clogger since the age of seven, he put that to good use while growing up as he performed for US Presidents, at the White House, and has also won many individual and competition awards for his clogging.
He released his debut album with Midnight Star Records/Ranmor Productions and Producer Randy Moore called, "It's A Dirty Job" on October 7, 2004. The 12 track CD is filled with Jimmy Lee's foot stompin' brand of music and his powerful yet heart touching ballads that tear right into the depths of your soul. His first single released off the album, "ETERNITY" is already making waves around the world.
The album is currently in rotation on Trans-America Broadcasting Corporation’s National Radio Show called, “The Best Of Country”, airing on 78 stations across Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Nevada, California, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Idaho & Iowa to name a few. Max McGee, the title track author, has also had Jimmy Lee’s album aired in Pennsylvania at stations around Lock Haven University, and the album is sold in the local stores.
Jimmy Lee’s sudden surge in performances has also garnered recognition by the Base Exchange, a military store on the base in Turkey, to begin selling the album in their music section, along with in-store promotions.
Jimmy Lee, although abroad, still manages to find ways to get his music heard and continues to pursue his dreams. He placed 1st at the Incirlik Air Base USAFE Idol show, and wrapped that up with a 3rd place showing at the All USAFE Idol show which featured the base winners from all Air Force troops stationed in Europe. Jimmy Lee’s performance from that show aired on ABC nationwide on May 23, 2005 and June 3rd in Europe and has since been nominated for an Emmy Award. The show not only included Jimmy Lee Jordan, but also featured other stars like Nick and Jessica, Willie Nelson, Big and Rich, and Brian McKnight.
The show was seen in over 2.4 million households across America!
Most recently, he also had the pleasure of working with Grammy nominated Producer Johannes Wohlleben from Bauer Studios in Stuttgart, Germany. Jimmy Lee recorded the Eagles hit “Desperado”, at the request of General “Doc” Foglesong, Commander of United States Air Forces in Europe, on the Air Force Band “Touch and Go’s” annual album.

Do you play live?
Yes. Local area mostly, but have traveled to several different states and up to Canada to perform at the Lake Superior International Music Festival at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Had a great trip and I went back this summer to record my debut album which is now available at: www.cafepress.com/jimmyleejordan/
I sing with the band "Triple Kick" and we perform all over Oklahoma and Texas in night clubs, bars, fairs, etc..
At the moment I am stationed in Turkey, so the band is working without me, but I will return in May 2006 to continue performing again.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it revolutionlizes the way Indie artists are able to get their music out to the general population. Before, they had to be lucky enough to run into you, now they can get it anytime, night or day....that is great!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
In a heartbeat!
Your influences?
George Strait, Keith Whitley, George Jones, Tracy Lawrence, too many others to mention.
Favorite spot?
The Smokey Mountains of North Carolina!
