Each element of our Band participates actively to the writing and arrangement of every song, that's why you will find a large variety of ideas and melodical solutions even inside a single track!
Moreover, thanks to the wide musical background owned by all of us, our songwriting is influenced by different styles, from Hard Rock to NWOBHM, from Power Metal to Progressive.

We started as an Iron Maiden Tribute Band.....that's it!!!

Band History:
The Prowlers were born in Rome ( Italy ) during winter 1996. As almost every Band at the beginning of its activity, our Gigs where based on playing Cover Songs. But after about one year of Live Shows all around Italy, we started to write original music.
In 1999 we recorded our first Demo CD.
The quality of this work was low due to a total "home-made" production so, in December 2000, we decided to record a new CD into professional Studios.
It has been titled "A Descent into the Maelstrom", taking inspiration by the E.A. Poe novel, and sent to several Labels, Web-zines and Magazines all around the World. The response have been more than positive and we received some Recording Contract proposals, but we didn't reach any agreement. So, one year later, we recorded another Demo CD titled "Souls Thieves" and sent it only to Labels. After few months we found an agreement with the Italian Label "Northwind Records" and signed our first Recording Contract!
