Hey.. im a laptop geek located in sunny Brisbane, Australia. Been making this crazy sh*** for about 3-4 years now, with small breaks in between for sanity reasons. I make most of my stuff with my own loops and samples, using the occasional free or stolen sample... i mostly prefer reason 2.5 but use cubase and a few other real life instruments as well ( zither, theremone)..
Why this name?
It started as a song title and ended up a name, its hazy for short.. i also push stuff out under the moniker Slipstick and posible one or two others as well :)
Do you play live?
Would love to play live, as yet have not had the chance
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
for the better... well for people like me who just enjoy what they do and dont care if their making millions out of it..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
sure.. but it would have to be the right contract

lots and lots... Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Massive Attack, Bjork, Sephouri, Trancenden,Tricky ( esp. his Nearly God stuff) Gerling, Sola Rosa, Lovespirals, Anji Bee, Tori Amos, Julie Cruise, Kate Bush.. to name a few....
Favorite spot?
Have yet to explore them all so cannot make an informed decision...
Equipment used:
g4 titanium 400mhz mac laptop with 640mg ram, runnning osx 10.2.6 and reason 2.5 , cubase x and garage band. Also use a midiman oxygen 8 usb controller ( which rocks with reason )
