The genie is out of the bottle and not just for the music business. Some new business model will evolve but it is still early days.

Started on the violin - hit puberty and got a guitar. High school bands. Then computers and recording.

Almost everything i've ever heard except "random jazz". Most things I've liked right away like Alan Parsons - Dire Straits - Jean Michel Jarre - Bach - etc. What I find more interesting are those that took a while to sink in - years sometimes - Bob Dylan - Jimi Hendrix - Roy Orbison.
