This is an instrumental piece I cooked up. I was basically trying to rip off an old Pink Floyd style beat and modernize the feel.
A slower tempo, bluesy, spacy, free-form instrumental.
This is a mid-tempo rocker about my take on a bum I saw under Union Station in downtown Seattle.
This is an instrumental piece I get alot of positive feedback from. It's live, and heavy on the delay. There's another version of this around somewhere without all the effects, but people seem to like this one.
This is another version of the tune Distractions; it's not drowned in effects and sounds a little more like I planned.
This is one guitar, one take. Simple. I'll re-record this sometime and get a better sound- this one's recovered off an analog master that's seen better days.
This is two guitar tracks, plus a drum line like I envisioned my friend Dean would hit it. This song's basically finished but lacks vocals.
I was trying to make something happy sounding, and this sounds pretty happy, so I'm....happy.
Ever been so mad at someone in your car, while you're drivin', that you can't even THINK let alone STEER?! This is your song.
This is your basic rock rant- slow buildup, long song. The recording is basically live, and the lyrics are just about getting pushed around by the government and greed and all the negative things about our society.
This song says, "Grab life by the balls." It's about a bitter old guy who never had the courage to go for what he wanted and got what he deserved.
This song's about a focusing technique used to achieve a state of lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming was talked about in Queensryche's 'Silent Lucidity' but from the point of view of a scared child, and was a ballad- well, this song ROCKS!
This is basically about not letting your partying get in the way of what you really want to do.
A little interlude between songs on the Litterbox Sandwich CD. Not exactly music- but the Litterbox Sandwich CD wouldn't be the same without it.
This is a song about not accepting whatever belief system is convenient or placed in front of you. This is the no-vocals version- I'll upload the complete version when I find it!
The full title for this song is "Pink Bunnies With Fangs Surfin'" but it always gets cut off hehehe. It's an instrumental jam with a lot of guitar solos.
This is a great outtake- we had to include it on the finished CD.
This is Pat solo on a 9 string guitar, live, with two mics- doesn't get any more real than this.
This is another non-musical interlude that somehow made it onto the Litterbox Sandwich CD.
This is another instrumental track brought in nearly finished by Pat. This is one of my personal favorites.
Soon I'll replace this with the version that has the vocals on it! It's a knock-down brawl that claims the front teeth of bigots and white supremacists everywhere. We used to close out the night with this one- it's a rocker-
