avant garde electro / EBM / dark electro / electrofunk

_

S!N!STRY is one of my current three personal projects for the more fun, more melodic, groovier and funkier side of my music. most of them has a dark twist, but usually not so biting, just a childish and grotesque atmosphere that u could feel in Tim Burton movies or such :)
although there are still weird sounds and combinations, the music in this project is the most conventional sounding and easily listenable one if the beats and melodies are considered.
and compared to my other 2 projects which are usually pessimist or aggressive, i really have fun using trash elements and ironies in this one.

my other projects:
ethnofobia - technoid-post-industrial-rhythmic-noise
mekanikAntika - experimental-dark-ambient-industrial-noise
Why this name?
i found it accidentally, and i liked it!
it sounds like many things... sin, sinister, chemistry, or could be the name of the temple for the people that worship the acts counted as "sins" ...
it also sounds formal like the words "registry" or "ministry"... so it is ironic in any way... but i mostly like the irony in the similarity with the name of the band "Ministry"...
Do you play live?
No i just played at a radio for 2 years (2 hours a week). but it was not my music, i was the producer and the dj. i played industrial, noise, experimental, electro, ebm and some goth...
apart from that, i dont believe eiter i m a performer, or can i perform live! i just like to take the time and prepare/produce it without the stress of being observed.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
hopefully pop music will rot in the depths of the internet, and one day music will only be on web sites like this one... everybody will be able to make his own music and share it with everyone in the world. there will be no boundaries, no borders, no fees, no prices, no Britney Spears, no Celine Dions, and no other prefabric music traps or visual "entertainments"
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not with a "major" one, because i want to make the music "i" want.
but, IF A MAJOR LABEL WANTS TO MAKE MONEY ON ME (JUST THE WAY A PROCURER MAKES MONEY FROM WOMEN), THEY WOULD REALLY COST THEM MUCH MORE THEN THEY WOULD EXPECT FROM ANY OTHER UNSIGNED MUSICIAN.
so i dont say "no, i wont sign" , but it would cost u really really a serious amount of money, if u want to "purchase" me as an investment to make money! if i m gonna be a whore, i m not gonna be a cheap one :) got it?
Band History:
band? i m just one person. i have graduated from the department of radio-tv and film studies (faculty of communication and media studies) i've produced a radio program that i've mentioned above. i and a friend made the music for my senior project short film in 2002... after graduating, i continued producing sound and noise compositions (some may call it "music")...
i have three seperate projects now: ethnofobia, S!N!STRY and mekanikAntika.
Your influences?
Aphex Twin, Add N to X, µ-ziq, Plaid, Mouse on Mars, Ascii.Disco, Kraftwerk, Enrapture, ...

quite many ha? :)
Favorite spot?
Camden Town and virtually Sadrith Mora
Equipment used:
well i m not making techno, so i dont think i need a roland synth. i only use softwares and samples...
i do most of the work with Propellerhead's Reason... and the rest with sound forge, acid... and also i use recorded samples... AMD computer:), nvidea soundcard:), phillips headset:D...
Anything else...?
