I am the ONE known as JKurve, aka Joe Kurve, the ONE and ONLY. I have been producing music in some from or another for about 7 years or so at the time of this writing, give or take some depending on when you woke up and realized that me and my shizz are NO fOcking joke. Myself and a few others helped jumpstart the awareness of electronica in Orange, TX, by producing our own brands of music solo, all the while oblivious to each other and our parallel journeys.
Skip all the krap that comes afterwards, let a few years go by, relocate 25 minutes away to Beaumont, TX, and you wind up somewhere around...THIS POINT in time. I moved in with another local DJ/producer known as 'Lotuz' and effectively joined forces as far as equipment. Currently, my fourth album is in the works along with the seeds from which music videos will come forth. I could keep going, buuuuuut....

Why this name?
That's a secret... :)
Do you play live?
I've played live for house parties...never an official venue, tho.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, it obviously hurt the signed bands yet has helped the unsigned tremendously.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. But the fact that I offer free music will NEVER change. If I ever get signed, I will release internet-only music as well as the music for the label.
Band History:
I've been producing for years, been involved with music even longer.
Your influences?
Astral Projection, Psilly-X, DJ Yahel, Infected Mushroom, ph4n, The Crystal Method, Rabbit in the Moon, Roni Size, Fatboy Slim, Uberzone, Tool, Prodigy, NiN, Suicide Commando, Soman, any GOOD music, regardless of genre, etc. & etc.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Every unsigned artist that is aggressively tackling the 'mainstream' sound with that of his own. These are the artists that re-invent that to which we have grown accustomed with the latest, greatest, best new noise. * cough * Lotuz * hack * NicSac * cough *

Anything else...?
"Odd amalgamation of industrial, techno, and hip-hop covered in itchy acid effects. Catchy melodies mold to stiffened rhythms." - Listen.com

"Wow...nice track. And very different to most of the productions we hear on this forum, a refreshing change. Yeah that Piano is awesome and the build of synths towards the end really gets you going again for an excellent climax. Wasn't too sure about this when it started but by the end...woah...i love it. Thank You." - Posted by 'RaverBabySy' in the TranceAddict.com forums

"Cool super funky digital underground!
Excellent mood! Turned this baby up real loud, tweaked the sub woofers and started moving along to the percussion.. hehe cool effort. Program sequence sounds truly pro.. the programmer knows his sounds and has a gift in being able to put together some great sounds backed with a cool beat. Nice dynamic break downs. Syth sounds really compliment the overall mix. Love your work, keep it up." - Review by 'acelouis' on Garageband.com
