I don't "play" live but I do broadcast live as a DJ for SonicRaider.com.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Most importantly, the Internet and the use of mp3 music files allows unsigned, lesser-known artists a medium to reach an audience. SonicRaider.com is completely devoted to unsigned, underground electronic talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, I'd sign with a label in order to get my music to more listeners, provided I didn't have to compromise myself in any way.
