BonaDea are a duo based in St. Andrews, Scotland - who first met in February of 2003. Julia sings most of the songs, and plays acoustic guitar; Paul manages to sing the odd one and also plays guitar and bass.
Paul (originally from Leeds, England) has a chequered 11 years of musical history (including bands such as Earth Calling Angela and Pihr), while Julia (originally from Cologne, Germany) has a long past of formal musical-training.
Generally-speaking our music is vocally-driven, most often accompanied by acoustic guitar with live percussion, and the odd 'organic' sample.

Why this name?
BonaDea is a Roman fertility Goddess, who is also known as Fauna. Draw your own conclusions!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends entirely on the contract. But I think we'd be happier in a more 'intimate' environment.

Alphabetically, Barry Adamson to Warren Zevon - and just about everything in between (except anything where 'image' > 'content' ).
