Born as an acronym for Psycho Reactive Aural Stimulation, the name pras has taken on a deeper meaning for me. It's kind of strange to make up a name, have folks identify you as such, and voila--a new identity.

My original concept was to devise a music synthesis system that would feed off of biofeedback elements to create a living soundtrack, unique to each user. Well, the science behind all this is far beyond my grasp, but I am still researching various ways to make this idea a reality.

When I decided to take a product concept and adopt it as a name, pras took on a different meaning for me as well as my creations. Quirky, humorous, off-the-wall (is that the same as quirky?), yet, hopefully, insightful.
