Band History:
Maybe Morning came together in late 2000, under the name Plastic Soul, through a shared love of the Beatles and other 60’s bands. The original lineup included Scott Sisemore on drums, Chris Townsend on guitar and John Myers (now a partner in Blisscent Records of Road Island) on bass and vocals. In summer 2001, John left for New York and the band took a break from serious rehearsal. In 2002, with loads of newly written songs, the band recruited bassist/vocalist Maria Palmer to take over as singer/songwriting partner and in 2004, lead guitarist Cash Oliver. The band currently rehearses twice a week and are putting finishing touches on a new album. From the Oasis-esq sound of their signature song “I’m Curious” to the punky “Babydoll Papershack” and alt-country sound of “Time I Got Back” the album flaunts an eclectic style with something for everyone.
