We'll see what the coming months bring. Maybe some new PAS/BOS collaborations.
Check out the first collaboration between BOS and Pawtucket All Stars on the song Tatertwats.
Please don't listen to the Lo-Fi versions of these songs. They sound like crap. If you have fast internet, use Hi-Fi, or just download the song by clicking on the mp3 link.
Why this name?
A politcal band by nature, Scott and myself decided someone needed to speak out against the injustice surrounding the selling of fine alcoholic beverages on Sunday. Our mission was completed in January of 2004 when Massachusetts decreed that fine beverages shall be sold on Sunday. RI quickly folded to our relentless activism, and Beer in now available on Sundays throughout RI.
Do you play live?
Hahahaha... not eactly. Scott and I occasionally jam at Colt State Park. We may do a live version of Junglefunknastylove at an upcoming Westview show.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Ehh, you know... downsizing, upsizing, the glass ceiling.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Show me the money.
Band History:
So what exactly is Beer on Sunday, you ask? Not quite a band, but more than just some guys getting drunk and recording music. This project basically started in January of 2003 when Scott, Craig, and myself started recording music while we drank at Scott's house. It has since evolved into a sprawling 13+ song CD known as "So I was Drunk." Here is a list of drunkards who have been involved:
Tim Twohig - guitar, programming, vocals, mouth harp, kazoo, Irish tin whistle, fluffy pillows.
Scott Gail - bass, berimbau, guitar, vocals, programming, percussion, ice skates.
Mullet - vocals, abacus.
Craig Gilmartin - vocals, guitar, harmonica, Ecko shirts.
Chris Jeschke - vocals, Peppermint Patties.
We're also down with all sorts of collaborations with other people, most recently with Pawtucket All Stars: Mike and Mark Gertrudes, Nigel Vincent, and John Schondeck.
