Realm Ex Music - Where Dreams And Music Fuse
The "Realm Ex" title stands for the idea of expressing ideas and thoughts lying deep inside the bosom of the author.
The "Realm Ex" title stands for the idea of expressing ideas and thoughts lying deep inside the bosom of the author.
Why this name?
The "Realm" is seen as the inner kingdom of soul, so beautiful and vivid, however, not perceivable by anyone else but the soul-bearer himself. The aim of the any creation and creativity is to express whatever is inside the creator, that's what the "Ex" is for: a Latin preposition denoting outward movement. Realm Ex is the display and conveyance of Timofey Mineyev's inner world.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Nowadays, in my humble opinion, MP3 discs or MP3 thru internet is just another opportunity to get music cheaper, than it is when you're buying usual Audio Cds. I hope, one day large record labels will appear that will truly help talented musicians to become famous and rich just through internet and MP3 files.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, If the Conditions are fair and favorable for both sides.
Band History:
Initially appeared in 2002 as Timofey Mineyev has started playing guitar and composing own music. "Realm Ex" can be described as a one-man multistyle instrumental project.
"When I have just started playing guitar, my only aim was to master the instrument. I have listened to different music and in the course of time the amount and variety of it has expanded and grown. There was one little thing that I didn't like about my favorite bands: not all of their compositions were completely to my liking. The matter of taste certainly. However I've decided to record my own things which would give me sincere and genuine pleasure.
That's why after quitting one of the local bands I got busy with the project, started searching for my personal style. This process has, indeed, taken a lot of time - approximately 4 years. I ve tried to find an optimal combination of melodic patterns of power, progressive metal, fusion, hard rock, classic music etc. which would be easy for perception and understanding."
