All Norfolk born GRiDLoCK consists of 5 members; Chris Gedge (21) on vocals, Gareth Moore (21) on Lead Guitar, Mike Wallace (21) on Lead Guitar. Paul Taylor (20) on Bass Guitar and Lee Foyster (30) on drums. Originally a 4 peice, stared in 2001, GRiDLoCK have made 2 changes to thier line up with the addition of a second guitar in the form of Mike Wallace and a new drummer in the form of Lee Foyster. Our influences range from Rage Against the Machine to Smaching Pumpkins, to Carcass to Metallica. Although these bands are all pretty mainstream, we aim to have a unquie sound but keeping it as fast and hard hitting as possible. Our music has massive energy combining phat riffs withdexterity and speed. This energy is shown in our live performances, where however large or small the venue, we always give everything to the crowd. Our greatest achievement would be to write and release a CD that we would be proud of for a long time to come. We are still ever evolving and are improving with every song we write. We now feel as solid as ever as a band and are exactly where we want to be. We dont see an end to this progression which we are all very excited about for the future.
