We're a hard rock/metal/hardcore band from grays harbor, washington. We play for one reason, that is to change lives. To show people that awesome music doesn't have to always present a bad message.
Why this name?
While Jesus hung on the cross the earth was dark from the hours of 6 till 9 (noon till 3pm) and on that Ninth Hour, the curtain in front of the "holy of holy" places, a place where only the high priest could only go once a year, was torn right down the middle. So that man could freely go to God whenever he would like, no matter who the person is.
Do you play live?
We play all over grays harbor. Hoquiam Aberdeen, Elma. One time danny jumped and hit his head on a rafter
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it's made it easier for bands to be heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
depends if they take away from the message we present in our music
Band History:
It started with just Dann (vocals), Steev (guitar) and Jesse (drums). They looked for a bassist and looked to their guitarist friend Danny who decided to play bass. They made 2 songs. It was good fun, but danny decided he didn't want to play bass. He knew his calling was guitar. So that is where he was put and Jesus brought our attention to the deposits of talent in our friend Eric. So we prayed and let Eric in. That couldn't have been a better descision.

Before NINTHOUR had even been together for 3 months God gave then 3 concerts! Each The were a favorite band. It was amazing. Christians would approach the band after concerts and say "I really felt the spirit moving" and non believers would say "I don't know what it is but there was something amazing about your show". This band is just a testamony to the fact the God can work through loud music. And he will continue to.
