I've been Djing for four years, since I was sixteen. I spin hip hop, house, jazz, and reggae. I'm actively looking for opening club spots in los angeles clubs.
Why this name?
"Disc Pistol" was the name of a little korean toy i bought the same day I began mixing... It just kind of stuck.
Do you play live?
I love playing for crowds. Some of my best mixing experiences were while spinning at highschool forums.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think Mp3s are a practical way of spreading music across thousands of miles, in situations that never would have been possible otherwise.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Um... I'm not sure if they'd even want me... But, um, ok.
