SoundClick artist: Voice of Da Hood

The Voice of DA Hood is not really our band name but one of the Aliases of one of our artist Cash-flow. Mil records is an independant Label, with a few artist lined up,and first in line is Cash-flow.

Why this name?

I choose the Voice of DA Hood as one of my Aliases because I discuss whats going on in my neighborhood of South Side Jamaica Queens.

Do you play live?

I have done a few shows mostly, promotional though.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Well it gives music listeners a chance to hear music that their not sure if they want to purchase and if they do like the artist they will go out and support.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yeah, but right now my focus is making a name for myself and my independant label

Well I have been rapping since I was 7, and decided to start my company with my best friend,Don O in 2003. MIL Records!!!

Your influences?

Notorious B.I.G , Nas, and Jay-Z are my musical influences. How ever my home town is my number one musical influence.
