It has allowed me to distribute my music and find music by bands that 10 years ago would have remained soley in the confines of the garage or bedroom it was created in. I have been contacted by fans of my music from around the world, and that is an amazing thing to behold. It may not change the music industry when concerning the domination of the corporate giants, but it has truly made the indies' choices for exposure much more versitile.

Sure, if I were to have complete (or at least very close to it) creative control. I would not be the one that would totally change my sound and don a 'current' look or style just to 'make it'. But there are major advantages to being able to make your music without having to do the normal grind of a day job at the same time.

I have always liked 'heavy' music, which does not neccessarily mean 'thick, crunching guitars'. I like to think that my musical influence is Heavy music itself. I like a lot of bands, ranging from industrial (skinny puppy, front line assembly, velvet acid christ) to European black/heavy metal (dimmu borgir, in flames, cradle of filth) and everything in between.
