So it's what I do, it's how I feel, it's life, and it's love...it's art. And that's all I put into these recordings is my art.
Why this name?
I chose unrequited friday from a poem that I had written long ago..."As unrequited as a friday ballroom spinning silently in the night" Ever since it just stuck I guess.
Do you play live?
I play at a certain coffee shop close to where I live named the Jitter Bug. I play also where my band practices on fair occasions for the entertainment of friends and family. But mostly i'm just a recording artist.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would, it would give me a great chance to become more of a creative force on my own.
Your influences?
Godspeed You Black Emperor!, At The Drive-In, Nick Drake, MC5, Julianne Coryell.
Favorite spot?
Wherever I feel alive.
Equipment used:
Anything and everything possible. I don't limit myself to just an acoustic guitar or labels such as instrumental procedures. I just keep it to a simple fact I am a musician and an artist, and will create with whatever I can
