Why this name?
We are in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. A famous UFO hot spot. Hence the name Strange Lights.
Do you play live?
We play shows as much as we can, touring thru Colorado and New Mexico, looking to go farther afield with national exposure via radio and internet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We Love Mp3s and mpeg video. Break out your ipods people, music industry be damned to evolve into better tunes and whole new economic vistas. What do we live in caves?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We are all about win win scenarios

Your influences?
Strange Lights is a Colorado band with roots in folk, rock, punk indie gothic and shamanic music. We tour mostly as an electric duo, sometimes with a well behaved drummer, but they are hard to find...!
Favorite spot?
We live out of the cities but we love to play in them. We live in the high and beautiful Colorado Mountains
Equipment used:
We play the fandanglething like no other band. You should see it. Theres nothing else like it in the world.
Anything else...?
At this point we are DIY. We work hard to get your attention. if anyone would like to volunteer please let us know. We have lots of free music and video you can download at our website. Please don't forget www.strangelights.net

Music
Just because you let her fly doesn't mean you don't want her to come back home.
a very spooky love song about the one you can't have
Who is this Mr. Wonderful?
a song derived from a variety of magical origins, offered as a gift back to the sources.
We are tied together in ways no one else can see. I wonder what would happen if I pull harder on that string.
The song is loosely based on how even if you want to be a slacker you end up working if you want to get good at it
God bless the world. A song about life essence, mistakes, and human equality
A song about the obvious pitfalls of being here and trying to look at the world from a post judgment day perspective
Lonny Roth's First song written in 1985 'Travelin Man' Recently on Denver's Colorado Rocks TV show
Indie rock with ocean swells and deep longing
She's warming up to me............I can feel it.
Not so burrrrrrrrr any more
I can see the day.
There is a method to all madness.
I'll be more careful what else can I do?
when I'm already a fool for you?
I'm just incurable just incurable
A song about the scene behind the music
Babe you are the only one that can make me sweat
A song poking fun at someone who is aloof.
She's given all her icicles away
She used to be so cold but things are changing
Take it back, about how i won't.

Pleasant sound. Spiritual sounding yet grounded. It's nice to hear some music like this from people who are in the bodies.. The vocalist really has a soothing voice and the female back up is great to.
Keep On..
