The Double Shot Band has recently finished recording a brand new album of all original music . Recorded by Phoenix Sound Recording for Dixie Records at Historic Capricorn Studio in Macon, Georgia which has been like a home to the band and to such musical greats as the Allman Brothers Band and Marshall Tucker.

The Double Shot Band is a red hot group from Savannah, Georgia with a blend of Rock, Blues and Country with deep rooted Southern influence. Known for their powerful live shows, improvised guitar solos, strong beat and rock steady bass lines, this Savannah based band has made a name for themselves through hard work and great live shows.
Why this name?
From the bands habit of ordering doubleshots of wiskey. It seemed only right!

The southeastern states mainly.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet opens a lot of new doors for groups.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, we would love to sign a record contract with the right label.
Band History:
The group was formed in the summer of 1988 in a small little town just south of Savannah, Georgia. We were a bunch of guys looking to play some jams and meet chicks.
Your influences?
Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton and many more.
Favorite spot?
Savannah, Georgia

Only the best for my poodle! Gibson,Fender, Marshall and of course JBL.
