Why this name?
Well I got the "DJ" from the "Ejay" program and since I'm not creating each sound bit but rather pieceing them together, the DJ thing seemed to fit. As for the rest, I just thought the name Scratch N Sniff was funny.
Do you play live?
I play on my old beatup computer. It's a process but I like it a lot! I love the finished product.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think Mp3 has allowed the average everyday person to achieve his 15 minutes of fame or better from the comfort of his/her home. You too can be a "star"! LOL
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
AS IF..... but yes! lol
Band History:
I got nothin' LOL I'm relatively new as a "band".. Just got the Ejay disc and have been playing with it for about a month. (2/14/04) Recently acquired new Rave and Hip-hop ejay programs to go with my Techno-2. 04/20/05
Your influences?
For this type of music I look to artists like Prodigy, Bjork, The Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Apex Twin, The Crystal Method and so on. Though what I do is not comparable.
Favorite spot?
My little home town.
